SPORTELMonaco 2008

 

After 19 highly successful years, SPORTELMonaco is universally recognized as the one indispensable, must-attend international Market for companies involved with any aspect of sports programming and sports content across all distribution platforms.

Every October, high-level sports executives gather in the Grimaldi Forum for four days of intense meetings with clients and colleagues from around the world: four days of networking, deal-making, learning about new industry trends, forging new alliances and discussing future business possibilities.

SPORTELMonaco 2008, held from 20 to 23 October 2008, posted record attendance figures for the third consecutive year, with a total of 2,495 participants, representing 1,028 companies from 80 countries worldwide taking part in the 4-day event.

 

The sold-out exhibition space in the Grimaldi Forum featured 176 stands, kiosks, displays and exhibits.

 

SPORTELMonaco 2008 featured a major new initiative: the SPORTEL Football Workshop™, the first-ever Workshop on Football & New Media, with a hands-on approach to making the most of new technology and new content to increase revenues and broaden fan base.
