Vladimir Fédorovski, President of the Jury SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Awards - Renaud de Laborderie

The 15th Annual SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Awards will be awarded on 16 October 2012 in Monaco, during SPORTELMonaco (15 to 18 October).

SPORTELMonaco is pleased to announce the President of the Jury for the SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Award - Renaud de Laborderie:

Vladimir Fédorovski.

Honorary President of the French Federation Book Fair, Vladimir Fédorovski is the most published writer of russian origin in France.
An award-winning author, he won: Le Grand prix du roman historique for his Rasputin novel, in March this year.

Vladimir Fédorovski will look at the sport illustration selection with jury members Gwladys Epangue (Taekwondo World Champion), Benoît Heimermann (International Reporter L'Équipe Magazine), Bernard Spindler (Writer and Journalist), S.E. Mme Yvette Lambin-Berti (Secretary General of the Monaco Olympique Committee) and Soria Zidelkhile (Communication Manager of F.N.O.S.C.).

Homage to Renaud de Laborderie:

As a tribute to the late Renaud de Laborderie, creator and Secretary of the Illustrated Sport Book Awards, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Honorary President of SPORTEL, wished to name this coveted award in his honour.
This year, in the competition’s 15th year, the award will be known as the SPORTEL Illustrated Sport Book Awards - Renaud de Laborderie.

Each partner awards the author of the book that best illustrates the diversity and emotions aroused by Sport.

The winners will be invited to Monaco to receive their prize on stage on Tuesday 16 October at 7pm at the Grimaldi Forum, during the prestigious Golden Podium Awards Ceremony, under the presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
