Over the last 20 years, SPORTEL has organized the International Symposium and a series of debates on sports and television.

Sports betting is soon to become legal in various countries in Europe and worldwide. In France sports betting operators must sign an agreement with rights holders, but this commercial agreement is only valid in France. Thus international agreements should also be signed in order to protect the general interest of sports-rights holders.
