Offerall of sport's pictures, on any screen, for all public, anywhere and atany time is the digital revolution's promise that transforms the mediaworld under our very eyes.

 

Theconventional system of broadcasting sport for the mass on generalist TVchannels has progressed for many moons with the emergence of pay TV oncable or satellite.
Broadband, mobile personal TV and Web 2.0 transform the situation once more.

 

Yet again the rights owners, the marketing agencies, the operators will have to adjust sporting events' business models. The segmentation of rights and the development of formats will increasingly turn out to be the daily reality.

 

What new trends will be showing up? Which sports will be pioneers in this development? Are changes about to occur in the usual distribution of roles between the various players on the scene ?

 

Those are the main issues which will arise during the debate on Monday October 20th.
